Senior / Lead Product DesignerWarsaw
Hi I’m Yuliya. I turn
complexity
and data
into
clear,
beautiful
products.
I care about the parts and the whole: the system behind a feature, and every pixel inside it.
Nine years of hands-on design across healthcare AI, data engineering, telecom, and enterprise platforms.

How I work
I think about the product as one system,
and I still care
about every
pixel inside it
- 01
Framing the problem
Before I design, I make sure we’re solving the right thing. With product, I define which metrics to move and how, then scope what the team builds.
- 02
Research & evidence
I plan and run interviews, usability tests and analytics myself. I’d rather know than guess, and I measure whether the work moved the numbers.
- 03
AI-assisted design
AI speeds up the start: exploring directions, prototyping in code, testing ideas. Then I refine the details by hand. The craft is still mine.
- 04
Craft & design systems
The part I’d do even if no one asked. A product’s mood lives in small things: a typeface, a margin, a shade of gray. Design systems keep it consistent.
- 05
Alignment & feedback
I align stakeholders, run workshops, and give clear, honest feedback to other designers. Good decisions need the right people and a clear reason.
- 06
Building & handoff
Depending on what’s needed, I build it in code myself or hand it off to engineering with clear tickets, then stay close until it ships.

About
I came to design through art — and that perspective never left me. I believe the things around us shape how we feel, and that well-designed products can make everyday life a little more comfortable, a little more human.
Beauty and function aren’t opposites to me. They’re the same goal. I care deeply about craft and aesthetics, but I’m equally driven by real user problems and business outcomes.
For me, design is a way of putting something good into the world — software that genuinely serves people, simplifies complexity, and makes daily life just a bit better. That’s what keeps me invested in the work.

What colleagues say
She covered the full design cycle on her own: user research, UX/UI, and solid product analytics for a designer. She also went beyond a typical design role by writing clear tickets, scoping her own work, and catching edge cases before they reached users. When AI started changing how our team worked, she was quick to adapt and began testing and building directly in code.
Maria SzandrachCo-Founder & CEO, MentalycYuliya is one of those designers who brings clarity, precision, and care to everything she touches. She’s incredibly strong in UX, with a solid UI mindset that really shows in her work. […] She doesn’t just design in a vacuum — she looks at the data, identifies what’s needed, and builds solutions that are grounded and strategic.
Adrien BarbusseLead Product Design, MentalycI have been working with Yuliya for the past 6 months and she has been one of the best UI/UX designers I have had the chance to work with. Her ability to stay curious, ask the right questions and her hard-working attitude makes her a very strong addition to any team. While working with Y42, she needed to develop a dev tool - despite never working with concepts like git before, she grasp them extremely fast and can produce cutting-edge UI/UX within a short amount of time.
Hung DangCEO & Founder, Y42Yuliya has a sharp, user-centric eye and never defaults to “that’s how it’s usually done.” She consistently digs into the why behind every decision, gathers data to evaluate the problem objectively, evaluates best practices in the context of the actual user journey, and delivers well-reasoned design solutions. […] I would highly recommend her to any product team looking for a designer who truly thinks end-to-end.
Vivekananda BharathiHead of Growth, MentalycYuliya has performed extremely well during a period of significant change for both UX organizational operation and actual product design. She is conscientious and thorough, and has demonstrated an ability to take on and lead design initiatives in a hectic and fast-paced environment. Despite a heavy workload, Yuliya is always positive, constructive, and calm.
